ServiceNow Administrator – 6‑month Fixed‑Term (Remote)

About the role

Duco is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator to provide dedicated support for a major defence‑industry client. The position is a six‑month fixed‑term contract, primarily remote with occasional on‑site visits to one of our Australian offices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, test and execute ServiceNow platform upgrades, including major releases and change freezes.
• Maintain and optimise ServiceNow MID Servers in line with infrastructure standards and upgrade cycles.
• Perform daily administration tasks such as monitoring notifications, managing approval workflows, and handling incident and service‑request tickets.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to implement security‑hardening measures and continuous platform improvements.
• Provide troubleshooting for platform updates, custom applications and configuration changes.
• Manage business‑as‑usual activities, including user access, group management and organisational configuration updates.
• Prioritise and deliver a backlog of enhancements across a portfolio of custom ServiceNow applications.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with an active Baseline security clearance.
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow upgrades, releases, MID Servers and integrations.
• Solid understanding of ITSM processes (incident, request, change).
• Experience balancing BAU support with project work and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, able to work independently in a fast‑paced setting.
