Service Technician – Temperature Control

About the role

Aggreko is seeking a Service Technician specialised in Temperature Control to join its Brisbane depot. You will perform routine servicing, maintenance, installation and commissioning of heating, cooling and drying equipment, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and undertake a range of maintenance activities on temperature control equipment according to defined procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections and adhere to Aggreko’s safety regulations.
• Provide first‑level technical advice to customers and resolve implementation problems.
• Perform major equipment servicing and overhauls at scheduled intervals.
• Carry out intermediate troubleshooting, fault diagnostics, and commissioning of chillers, heaters, compressors and related systems.

Required profile

• Experience in refrigeration/HVAC and troubleshooting chillers.
• Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage/kW requirements and read schematics.
• Attention to detail and strong teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Refrigeration/HVAC knowledge.
• Chiller troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Installation and commissioning of temperature control equipment (chillers, AC units, heaters, compressors).
• Calculating tonnage/kW and interpreting technical schematics.
