Service Technician

About the role

Join Konecranes as a Service Technician, delivering inspection, minor repair and field modernisation services for a range of standard cranes across Australia. You will work directly with customers to resolve emergencies and provide value‑added solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections on various makes and models of standard cranes.
• Carry out minor repairs, field modernisations and small installation jobs.
• Identify, source and supply parts using the technician price guide.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns, diagnose faults and restore crane functionality.
• Provide repair solutions and identify opportunities for added value.
• Coordinate with local support functions and master technicians as needed.

Required profile

• Current and valid driver licence.
• Full electrical licence.
• Working at heights competency.
• Elevated work platform ticket.
• Basic understanding of Konecranes and Demag products and services.
• Familiarity with Australian standards and safety/risk assessment procedures.
