Service Operator I – Service Specialist I‑L&P

About the role

Halliburton is seeking motivated individuals to operate and maintain well logging equipment on oil‑field service sites. The role involves rig‑up and rig‑down of surface and down‑hole tools, ensuring accurate geological data collection while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Rig‑up and rig‑down surface and down‑hole well logging equipment, including electric, nuclear, sonic and pressure control tools.
• Operate well logging equipment at the job site to record subsurface formation data.
• Assemble down‑hole well logging tools and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain, clean and service both surface and down‑hole equipment.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑job vehicle and equipment inspections and complete associated paperwork.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an Operator Assistant‑L&P, II.
• Ability to communicate effectively, perform basic mathematical calculations and read/write English.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Knowledge of HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel.
