Service Desk Engineer – Level 1

About the role

CT Group, part of Lyra Technology Group, is seeking a Level 1 Service Desk Engineer to join its Melbourne office. The role combines remote support for clients across Australia with occasional on‑site assistance for Melbourne‑based customers, offering a varied and dynamic workload.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service across diverse environments.
• Support servers, workstations, applications, and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Liaise with users, suppliers, and vendors to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Own support tickets from start to finish, providing regular stakeholder updates.
• Document actions and resolutions in the ticketing system and contribute to client knowledge‑base articles.
• Escalate issues to senior team members when necessary.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in an IT support role.
• Strong customer‑centric attitude and professional communication.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.
• Current C‑class driver’s licence and own car.

Required skills

• Supporting Windows‑based environments.
• Microsoft 365 administration.
• Using ticketing systems for incident management.
