Service Crew Operator

About the role

The Service Crew Operator provides essential underground mining support services such as air, water, ventilation, pump lines, tele‑remote and electricity setups at the Agnew Gold Mine. The role operates on a fly‑in‑fly‑out roster (8 days on/6 days off, 7 nights on/7 days off) and reports to the Underground Production Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out operational tasks for ventilation, water, power, ground support and compressed air systems.
• Operate elevated work platforms, integrated tool carriers, light vehicles and other hydraulically operated mobile machinery.
• Provide reliable technical knowledge to minimise downtime and support efficient production.
• Perform preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and coordinating repairs.
• Manage environmental responsibilities, including spill control, containment, clean‑up and reporting of oil or hydraulic leaks.

Required profile

• Experience in underground operations within a service or paste crew capacity.
• Valid manual driver’s licence (essential).
• Dangerous Goods and Working at Heights tickets.
• Truck operation experience is advantageous.
