Service Advisor

About the role

Tesla Motors is seeking a Service Advisor to join its Canberra service team. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries by phone, email and in‑person, and ensuring a seamless service experience for owners of the latest electric vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails and drive‑ins, responding to customer concerns within five minutes.
• Determine whether issues can be resolved remotely and, when needed, promptly escalate to the Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
• Accurately record all customer interactions, vehicle details and service actions in the Dealer Management System.
• Process transactions, guide customers through repairs, and provide clear summaries of work performed.
• Communicate estimated completion times, give regular updates, and coordinate vehicle delivery or pick‑up.
• Follow up after service to confirm customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new automotive technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building cooperative relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s licence with a safe driving record and at least two years of driving experience.
