SEO Specialist (Mid‑Level)

About the role

You will own the SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of Australian client accounts at ClickClick Media. The role blends technical SEO, content planning, and client communication, requiring you to make decisions, implement solutions, and explain results in plain language.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical audits (crawl errors, Core Web Vitals, page speed, schema, canonicals, site architecture).
• Prioritise and resolve technical issues in collaboration with web developers, verifying outcomes.
• Develop keyword strategies aligned with search intent and create detailed content briefs.
• Optimise on‑page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking.
• Identify content gaps, build prioritised content plans, and improve E‑E‑A‑T signals.
• Assess backlink profiles with SEMrush or Ahrefs, devise quality link‑building tactics, and monitor domain authority.
• Prepare and deliver plain‑language monthly performance reports and run strategy sessions with clients.
• Collaborate with the Google Ads team to align keyword architecture and avoid cannibalisation.

Required profile

• 2+ years of dedicated SEO experience managing multiple client accounts.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for non‑technical audiences.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable taking ownership from day one.
