SEO Manager

About the role

As an SEO Manager at Optus, you will lead the growth and performance of our organic search channel across a wide range of digital properties. You will work closely with marketing, digital, and cross‑functional teams to maximise visibility and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive organic growth for Optus portfolios, products and services.
• Conduct keyword and competitor research to uncover opportunities.
• Implement on‑site optimisation, testing and technical SEO improvements.
• Shape a customer‑focused content strategy and grow AI‑powered search visibility.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure flawless technical SEO implementation.
• Liaise with Paid Marketing to align strategies.
• Educate peers and foster a culture of optimisation and experimentation.
• Report performance metrics and communicate progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑page and off‑page SEO with strong technical SEO knowledge.
• Ability to think innovatively and challenge conventional ideas.
• Excellent communication skills for complex product understanding and peer training.
• Track record of growing organic traffic and improving engagement and conversions.
• Self‑motivated, ambitious and capable of working autonomously.
