SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This remote, part‑time contract position is for an SEO & Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert who will review and create AI‑generated marketing outputs. You will help improve AI models by ensuring SEO strategies, content, and technical recommendations are accurate, clear, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including detailed prompts, content briefs, and optimization notes.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated SEO and marketing responses for intent match, correctness, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Identify and flag issues such as weak logic, over‑claims, hallucinated facts, and risky marketing statements.
• Provide precise written feedback and high‑quality explanations that demonstrate best SEO practices.
• Collaborate with the AI data services team to continuously improve model performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO concepts.
• Proficient with analytics tools such as GA4 and Search Console.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to evaluate writing for clarity, structure, and brand voice.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow.
• Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, or performance‑marketing review is a plus.
