Senior Venue Manager – Eastern Suburbs Pub

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Venue Manager to lead a beloved Eastern Suburbs pub in Sydney. You will own the floor, bar, gaming room and a high‑performing team, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and profitably.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage the floor and bar each shift, maintaining service standards and pace.
• Recruit, coach and brief supervisors and staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality guest experiences.
• Control commercial performance: roster costing, labour vs sales, gross profit, stock, waste and supplier terms.
• Oversee gaming compliance, presentation, activations and performance.
• Produce weekly reports via SevenRooms and Jensen POS that drive actionable improvements.
• Collaborate with the on‑site premium bistro to align guest flow and shared standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Venue Manager in busy, multi‑space pubs.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to manage labour, cost and revenue metrics.
• Strong coaching mindset with a calm, credible presence during high‑volume periods.
• Experience with gaming operations is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SevenRooms reservation system.
• Experience using Jensen POS.
