Senior Training Officer - Sentence Management Services

About the role

The Queensland Corrective Services Academy provides education, training and professional development to corrective services staff across the state, operating as the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for QCS. As a Senior Training Officer in the Sentence Management Services role, you will assist the Manager, Community Corrections & Specialist Operations Training in designing and reviewing contemporary training and development programs for Specialist Operations and the Agency.

Required profile

• Experience in and a detailed understanding of the operations of sentence management services
• Experience designing, delivering, implementing and reviewing vocational educational training programs relevant to QCS staff
• No mandatory qualifications; candidates can complete the Trainer Assessor Program before delivering training components
• Ability to travel on official business; a C class licence may be required
• Occasional work outside normal hours, travel to other locations or temporary work from another location
