Senior Technical Architect

About the role

OutSystems, an AI development platform for enterprises, is looking for a Senior Technical Architect. The role owns the project execution and drives the functional and technical vision of solutions from ideation to production, working with customers, Engagement Managers and Solution Delivery Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, size and build scalable solution architectures based on business needs, and influence the solution direction with expertise in OutSystems and other technologies.
• Take part hands-on in development and be responsible for the overall technical quality of the solution.
• Mentor the team of OutSystems, customer and partner resources on architecture and development best practices.
• Work with the customer to resolve impediments and dependencies.
• Grow the technical ability of the professional services team through documentation, sample applications, blog posts and speaker events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (candidates without one are welcome).
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience in web or mobile application development, project delivery, solution design, architecture patterns and application performance.
• Preferred: OutSystems project experience and certifications, and experience executing technical projects across teams and timezones.

Required skills

• Preferred.NET, C#, SQL, REST, SOAP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Preferred: experience with agile, scrum, iterative and waterfall lifecycles.
