Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

Domino's is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant for a permanent position in its Tax team at the Hamilton head office. The role ensures accurate and timely tax compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing and international reporting across Australia and New Zealand, supports governance and risk management, strengthens the Group's tax capability and provides trusted advice to finance and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage assigned compliance and reporting obligations
• Prepare calculations and reconciliations, and review work prepared by others
• Manage deadlines and escalate risks
• Provide technical guidance to finance teams
• Work with external advisers and revenue authorities
• Document technical positions and maintain audit-ready workpapers
• Support tax audits, reviews and information requests

Required profile

• Approximately five or more years of relevant corporate tax experience in a professional services firm, a large corporate group or a combination of both
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, law or a related discipline
• Completion of, or progress towards, a CA, CPA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
• Ownership, reliability, attention to detail, proactive problem solving and strong communication with stakeholders

Required skills

• Preparation and/or review of corporate income tax returns for large groups, multinationals or listed companies
• Preparation and/or review of tax-effect accounting calculations
• Strong accounting and reconciliation skills
