Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

As a trusted Senior Talent Partner within Aurecon’s Careers and Talent team, you will lead recruitment for South Australian teams, building a strong market presence and supporting a pipeline of infrastructure projects. You will work closely with hiring managers and senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs and shape hiring strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid to senior engineering roles across South Australia.
• Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines using direct, market‑led and innovative sourcing methods.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to anticipate hiring needs and design tailored strategies.
• Provide market insights, guidance and best‑practice recruitment advice to influence decisions.
• Utilise recruitment systems, data, AI‑enabled tools and process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

Required profile

• Significant experience in both in‑house and agency recruitment environments.
• Strong knowledge of the South Australian talent market with established local networks.
• Proven success recruiting mid to senior professionals in engineering, infrastructure or advisory settings.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Commercially minded, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
