About the role
As a trusted Senior Talent Partner within Aurecon’s Careers and Talent team, you will manage recruitment for South Australian engineering teams, build a strong market presence, and develop talent pipelines to support the company’s growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for mid to senior roles across South Australian engineering portfolios.
- Build strong SA market connections and proactive talent pipelines using direct, market‑led and innovative sourcing.
- Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to anticipate workforce needs and shape tailored hiring strategies.
- Provide market insights, guidance and best‑practice recruitment advice to influence decisions.
- Use recruitment systems, data, emerging technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Balance volume and complexity while maintaining strong governance and an exceptional candidate experience.
Required profile
- Substantial experience across both in‑house and agency recruitment environments.
- Strong knowledge of the talent market in South Australia, ideally with established local networks.
- Demonstrated success recruiting mid to senior professionals across engineering, infrastructure, technical or advisory environments.
- Confidence partnering with managers and senior leaders, with strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused and commercially minded approach, with the agility to anticipate needs, pivot quickly and manage competing priorities.
- Confidence using ATS platforms, data, AI‑enabled tools and process improvements to deliver smarter recruitment outcomes; Workday experience is preferred.
- Experience within engineering, infrastructure, consulting, defence, construction or professional services will be highly regarded.
