Senior Support Analyst – Trading Applications

About the role

The Senior Support Analyst will join the Global OMS/EMS support team, providing L1/L2 assistance to CLSA trading desks, clients, vendors, brokers and exchanges. The role involves shift work covering Asia, US and Europe markets and requires close collaboration with application support teams in Pune, the US and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily trading operations desk support for High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP and F&O desks.
• Coordinate connectivity setup with external parties, including exchanges and brokers, and work with infrastructure teams.
• Monitor systems using tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elasticsearch and ITRS.
• Participate in change and incident management using ServiceNow.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 10‑12 years of experience with at least 5 years in OMS/EMS support, preferably with Fidessa.
• 3‑5 years experience in a broker/dealer environment and strong knowledge of cash equity DMA/DSA trading.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to work under high‑pressure trading floor conditions.

Required skills

• OMS/EMS platforms (e.g., Fidessa), cash equity, swaps, futures and options trading knowledge.
• System monitoring tools: Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, Elasticsearch, ITRS.
• Enterprise messaging: Tibco, Solace.
• Change/incident management: ServiceNow.
• Technical: Oracle (user level), SQL, stored procedures, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, Perl, basic Python, Java, FIX protocol.
• Awareness of SRE concepts.
