Senior Speech Pathologist

About the role

Ability Action Australia is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeks a Senior Speech Pathologist to provide leadership and high‑quality therapeutic services to NDIS participants across South Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Provide early years (0‑5) clinic/home‑based intervention, parent coaching, and school‑readiness support.
• Assess and treat school‑aged children (5‑18) in literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding and AAC.
• Support adults with functional communication, dysphagia, neurodegenerative conditions, stroke and brain injury rehabilitation.
• Deliver neuro‑affirming supports to a large neurodivergent population.

Required profile

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
• Experience delivering services under the NDIS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support other clinicians.
• Passion for collaborative multidisciplinary work and community impact.

Required skills

• Advanced clinical expertise in speech pathology across lifespan.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities.
