Senior Software Engineer - React Native Mobile

About the role

Kick is a global live-streaming platform for entertainment content, and its engineering team is building the mobile app used by millions of users worldwide. The company is looking for a mid-level React Native mobile engineer who enjoys the full app development cycle, from coding and deployment to monitoring and operations, and takes pride in delivering reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to improve performance.
• Take part in code reviews to maintain code quality and follow best practices.
• Deploy applications to app stores and manage the submission process.
• Monitor app performance and user feedback to find areas for improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience building highly performant production mobile applications in React Native.
• Track record of app development through deployment in app stores, including monitoring and operations.
• Preferred: strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly, and a solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
