Senior Site Activation Specialist (Sponsor Dedicated)

About the role

iQVIA is seeking multiple Senior Site Activation Specialists for its ANZ Site Activation team. You will support clinical trials from early site identification through activation and ongoing maintenance, working across a broad portfolio of sponsors and therapeutic areas. The role covers end-to-end site start-up, working with internal study teams, investigative sites and external stakeholders. Full work rights for Australia are required.

Key responsibilities

• Support site feasibility, site identification, site start-up and maintenance across multiple studies and sponsors
• Prepare, review and track site start-up documentation in line with regulatory, ethics and sponsor requirements
• Act as key point of contact for investigative sites during start-up and maintenance
• Coordinate ethics and informed consent form submissions, including local adaptations and ongoing amendments
• Lead site budget and contract negotiations
• Maintain accurate site and study information in internal systems and project trackers
• Communicate status updates, risks and timelines to internal stakeholders
• Provide operational guidance and informal mentoring to less experienced team members

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months hands-on experience in clinical trial site start-up / site activation
• Experience managing ethics submissions and informed consent documentation
• Proven experience in site budget and contract negotiations
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Full work rights for Australia

• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple sites and studies in parallel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy

Some positions are 1-year contracts; conversion or renewal depends on business needs and sponsor requirements. The interview process includes an initial video screening and a phone screening.
