Pharmacy Assistant - Slade Pharmacy North Sydney

About the role

Icon Oncology Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for its Slade Pharmacy in North Sydney, which is located within Mater Hospital North Sydney. This is a permanent, full-time position focused on customer service and retail operations; no pharmacy or healthcare experience is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and support pharmacy operations under the guidance of pharmacists
• Process prescriptions and handle transactions at the point of sale
• Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving and shelving medications
• Provide basic health advice and respond to customer queries within your scope
• Support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy

Required profile

• Strong customer service experience in retail, hospitality, supermarkets, health and beauty or other customer-facing environments
• Australian working rights valid for at least 12 months from the date of employment
• Demonstrated commitment and reliability through a stable employment history
• Availability to work permanent full-time hours on an ongoing basis
• No pharmacy or healthcare experience required
