Senior Salesforce Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to support a multi‑year Digital Modernisation Strategy. The role blends hands‑on Salesforce development with CI/CD, deployment automation and release management to ensure reliable delivery across complex enterprise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Salesforce solutions across development, configuration and platform enhancements.
• Support technical delivery using Apex, integrations, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio and Experience Cloud.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and release processes.
• Manage Salesforce environments, source control, branching strategies and deployments across multiple environments.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot deployment issues and maintain platform stability.
• Identify technical risks, manage defects and ensure quality through testing, code reviews and release controls.
• Collaborate with product managers and delivery teams to plan releases, estimate work and manage technical risks.
• Coach engineers, review code and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Strong Salesforce development, configuration and administration experience.
• Experience delivering Salesforce implementations in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience establishing and managing Salesforce CI/CD and release management processes.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification (or equivalent hands‑on experience); Public Sector Solutions certification is desirable.
