Senior Salesforce Developer – Service & Loyalty

About the role

MECCA is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join its Service & Loyalty technology team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support, maintain and evolve a highly customised Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on Service Cloud and Loyalty Cloud, while collaborating with product, business and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement Salesforce solutions, especially Service Cloud and customer‑care features.
• Build and maintain customisations using Apex, Lightning Components, automation flows, Data Processing Engine and integrations.
• Provide senior‑level technical support, incident resolution and platform stability work.
• Monitor platform health, proactively identify performance or data issues and resolve them.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Salesforce development, administration or solution design with a focus on Service Cloud.
• Strong understanding of customer service processes, SLAs and service metrics, ideally with exposure to ITIL.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and handle a variety of tasks.

Required skills

• Salesforce Service Cloud, Loyalty Cloud, Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL/SOSL.
• Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) or data migration tools.
• CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, Salesforce CLI or SFDMU.
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
