Customer Data Enablement Lead

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position sits in MECCA’s Personalisation Enablement team, leading the strategy and solution design for customer data across loyalty, personalisation and marketing. You will combine hands‑on technical work with roadmap planning and stakeholder influence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end strategy and solution design for capturing, connecting and activating customer data.
• Lead and develop a team of three Audience Specialists, building capability and ensuring delivery.
• Write SQL and work directly with data platforms such as Lumos (MECCA’s data warehouse) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to shape segmentation and audience intelligence.
• Partner with Architecture and business stakeholders to define solution approaches and deliver initiatives.
• Maintain a forward‑looking customer data roadmap, including AI‑enabled personalisation opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong technical experience with data platforms and hands‑on SQL.
• 2+ years working with data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake) and experience in customer intelligence or MarTech.
• Proven solution‑design skills and ability to influence both technical and business audiences.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on customer experience outcomes.
