Senior Road Designer

About the role

Join AECOM as a Senior Road Designer to develop horizontal and vertical alignments, cross‑sections, and corridor models for major infrastructure projects. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver design deliverables that meet client standards and digital delivery requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop alignment geometry, cross‑sections and corridor models to applicable standards.
• Generate and manage design deliverables including models, drawings, digital terrain models and quantity take‑offs.
• Coordinate with civil, drainage, utilities, structures, traffic and survey teams to resolve interfaces and constraints.
• Apply design standards, road safety principles and constructability considerations, documenting assumptions and decisions.
• Prepare and check design outputs for compliance and metadata for digital delivery.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of road/highway design experience using 12d Model.
• Strong understanding of geometric design principles and standards.
• Working knowledge of drainage and utilities interfaces affecting roadway geometry.
• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or equivalent design discipline.
