Senior Recruitment Consultant (Defence)

About the role

AustCorp, a private wholly-owned Australian recruitment company founded in NSW in 1996, is recruiting a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Perth to support its existing clients and grow its footprint across Australia in the Defence sector. The role is permanent and sits within the Defence discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit permanent and fixed-term roles across Australia (potentially internationally)
• Generate business, deliver services and engage stakeholders with clients, candidates and internal staff
• Support clients across the Defence combat asset spectrum: Land, Aerospace or Navy

Required profile

• Australian citizen (ideally for clearances), able to obtain a National Police Check and possibly pass AGVSA clearances
• 5+ years of recruitment consultancy experience, or 7 years in the ADF (Army, RAN, RAAF)
• At least 2 years of defence-sector operational or recruitment experience in manufacturing, repair or assembly, such as shipbuilding, submarines, navigation systems, armoured vehicles, small arms, explosive ordnance, military equipment manufacturers, military components or military communications
• Driven, active, self-starter and team player who wants to earn through high commissions (30% to 50%)
• Ability to adapt to changing markets and industry requirements; interstate experience or 8+ years with UK Defence Tier 1s looking to relocate to Perth is welcome

What we offer

• Base salary of $80K-$100K plus superannuation
• Commission of 30% to 50%
