Senior Rail Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is looking for a Senior Rail Engineer to join its Perth Transport team. You will lead and contribute to the development of rail and mass‑transit capabilities across Australia and New Zealand, working on complex infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production of technical deliverables for rail and mass‑transit projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality designs of railways and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain client relationships at project and local market levels.
• Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering, preferably chartered.
• Solid design and project‑management experience in rail.
• Proven ability to lead design teams through project phases.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
