Senior Project Manager

About the role

Planix Projects is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead social infrastructure projects in Sydney. You will oversee the delivery of seniors living, aged‑care and affordable housing developments from concept through completion, working closely with developers, designers, operators and government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project management for multiple senior living, aged‑care and social housing projects.
• Manage time, cost, quality, risk and stakeholder outcomes across concurrent programmes.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, procurement strategies and schedules.
• Act as the primary Planix liaison with clients, designers, contractors and consultants.
• Mentor junior team members and uphold Planix’s reputation as a partner of choice.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm’s national presence.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience in construction or development.
• Proven delivery of social infrastructure projects, especially seniors living, aged‑care or affordable housing.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in procurement, budgeting and risk identification.
• Excellent stakeholder management across public, not‑for‑profit and private sectors.
• Tertiary qualification in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Passion for projects that create lasting community impact.
