Senior Project Manager

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of software, systems integration and customer implementation projects across the full delivery lifecycle. You will work in a collaborative, multi‑stakeholder environment, coordinating vendors, technical teams and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex ICT and software implementation projects.
• Manage integrated project plans, schedules, governance, risks, dependencies and reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery teams including business analysis, architecture, engineering, development, testing, data, change and operations.
• Drive customer implementation activities such as discovery, fit‑gap assessments, configuration, integration and readiness.
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, design discussions and stakeholder forums.
• Support release readiness, deployment activities and transition into business‑as‑usual.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and scalable delivery practices across the program.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex enterprise technology programmes in software, systems integration or digital transformation environments.
• Strong governance, planning, dependency and risk management capability.
• Experience working across large, matrixed delivery environments and coordinating cross‑functional technical and business teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Background in government, transport, infrastructure or regulated industries is highly regarded.
• Experience with Agile, hybrid or iterative delivery approaches.
• Relevant project management certification (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
