Senior Project Manager - Industrial Automation & Process Solutions

About the role

Honeywell is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead medium to large‑scale industrial automation, process control and technology projects across Queensland and the Eastern Region. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions for sectors such as mining, energy, life sciences and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of multiple concurrent projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and resources.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive project governance, reporting and performance management activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Monitor commercial performance and contribute to business profitability.

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing medium to large‑scale industrial, automation or technology projects.
• Strong leadership capability with experience leading cross‑functional project teams.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and experience managing project budgets and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills.

Desirable

• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering or Business.
• Experience within Mining, Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Manufacturing, Chemicals or Life Sciences sectors.
