Senior Project Manager – Fabrication

About the role

Altrad is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Fabrication to lead the delivery of subsea fabrication projects at its Kwinana operations. This senior leadership position oversees end‑to‑end delivery of complex fabrication scopes, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate analysis and reporting of project performance, implementing improvement strategies.
• Ensure contract compliance, allocate resources effectively and maintain performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop project strategies with internal stakeholders, aligning business initiatives with project objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and development of project personnel.
• Manage external contractors and suppliers, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost and timeline requirements.
• Identify opportunities for project optimisation and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex fabrication and construction projects, preferably in the subsea sector.
• Strong commercial and technical capability with a track record of managing contracts above $10 million.
• Leadership and people‑management skills, able to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, schedule and commercial outcomes.

Required skills

• Specialised welding to ASME / DNV welding codes.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
