Senior Project Manager – ERP & Technology Programs

About the role

Thomas Foods International is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex technology changes, primarily delivering the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP programme across multiple sites. The role is based in Rose Park and reports directly to the CIO, requiring interaction with the boardroom, finance team, and plant floor.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP programme, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget outcomes.
• Manage a portfolio of smaller IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and site rollouts at processing plants.
• Coordinate third‑party implementation partners and vendors, handling contracts, change control, and governance structures such as steering committees and stage gates.
• Oversee data migration, integration, testing, and cut‑over planning to ensure business readiness on day one.

Required profile

• Formal qualifications in IT, Business, Commerce, Engineering or related field, plus a recognised project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM).
• Significant experience managing large, multi‑workstream IT programmes, preferably in an FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor project teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong budget management, forecasting and financial reporting capabilities.
