Senior Project Manager - Digital Transformation

About the role

Bailey Abbott, an IT consultancy serving public and private sectors, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its Digital Transformation capability. You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects for the firm's customers, ensuring they align with customer strategy, commitments and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle of one or more initiatives, with strong governance and alignment to customers' strategic goals.
• Build and lead high-performing delivery teams, delivering quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• Develop and manage delivery plans, estimates, budgets and resources, with clear milestones and success criteria.
• Proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies across technology, operations and business teams.
• Build trusted customer and stakeholder relationships and communicate sensitive information carefully.
• Provide clear reporting on delivery progress, financial performance, risks and benefits to customers and senior leaders.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and presentations, and adapt delivery approaches to changing business needs.
• Mentor project managers and colleagues, and contribute to improving delivery practices, tools and frameworks.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading complex technology and business initiatives from planning to completion, on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of delivery frameworks and governance, adaptable across Agile, traditional and DevOps environments.
• Experience in delivery planning, financial and resource management, risk management and handling complex dependencies.
• Collaborative leadership style, with experience motivating multidisciplinary teams and mentoring project managers.
