Senior Project Manager – Civil & Infrastructure

About the role

Alder Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across Southeast Queensland. You will oversee projects from planning and procurement through to completion, mentoring teams and building strong client relationships. This role offers the chance to influence outcomes and contribute to lasting community impact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project planning, programming, forecasting and cost control.
• Lead delivery ensuring safety, quality, programme and financial objectives are met.
• Coordinate teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve successful outcomes.
• Identify and manage risks, variations and contractual obligations.
• Review documentation and monitor construction activities for compliance.
• Prepare reports, oversee close‑out and final contract administration.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in the Civil & Infrastructure sector.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (preferred).
• Proven track record delivering civil infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in programming, budgeting and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
