Senior Project Engineer

About the role

ACCIONA is delivering the Clean Energy Link North (CELN) project for Western Power in Perth, a critical high‑voltage underground transmission initiative. As a Senior Project Engineer you will coordinate and control all engineering works, overseeing subcontractors, schedules, cost, quality and HSEQS compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop construction methods and manage temporary works design, checks and inspections.
• Plan and control project schedules, critical path, resourcing and float.
• Direct construction engineering activities based on technical submissions and method statements.
• Manage cost control, contract performance and financial probity across the project.
• Lead implementation of required quality controls onsite.
• Mentor and develop site engineers, building technical capability.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and communication across project stages.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQS, legislative and risk management frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in large‑scale infrastructure projects, method planning, temporary works and technical submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, critical path and cost control.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering, quality assurance and HSEQS requirements.
• Proven experience in subcontractor management and stakeholder communication.
