About the role
Aurecon is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to join its Advisory business, supporting Defence capital and maintenance projects across Western Australia and the Northern Territory. You will work with a highly skilled team to deliver projects from feasibility through to hand‑over, ensuring robust controls and compliance with defence requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide project controls expertise for a portfolio of Defence projects, coordinating with the controls team to maintain consistent processes.
- Escalate controls‑related issues and promote best practices to support proactive contract management.
- Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring across assigned regions.
- Travel between WA and NT locations as required to meet project needs.
Required profile
- Australian citizenship (essential for defence clearance).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controls, including at least 2 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of delivering large‑scale programmes and managing controls across multiple projects.
Required skills
- Extensive knowledge of PRISM.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and other IT packages.
