Senior Program Support Manager

About the role

The Senior Program Support Manager will work within DT Global’s Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) Support Unit to help implement Australia’s international climate change commitments. The role supports the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in increasing climate investments, integrating climate considerations across development programmes, and enhancing disaster risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level programme support to the CRC initiative, ensuring alignment with DFAT priorities.
• Assist in coordinating climate‑focused funding and gender‑responsive, inclusive programming across water, food, nature‑based solutions and energy sectors.
• Monitor and report on programme progress, outcomes and climate integration metrics.
• Facilitate collaboration between DT Global, DFAT and partner governments to drive effective climate and disaster resilience actions.

Required profile

• Proven senior experience in programme or project management within climate change, environment or international development contexts.
• Strong understanding of gender‑responsive and inclusive approaches to climate and disaster resilience.
• Ability to work with government agencies and multilateral partners.
