Senior Product Designer

About the role

REA Group is hiring a Senior Product Designer for its Sell & Rent design team, partnering with the Grow Leads squad to improve seller-lead experiences and help agents and agencies capture, manage and convert high-intent leads. The role is a fixed-term position until July 2027, based in Melbourne, and works closely with Product and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design work end-to-end with a high degree of autonomy, contribute to squad strategy and mentor others.
• Understand the business context, user needs and competitive landscape to inform design decisions.
• Identify design opportunities and use data, research and experimentation to validate decisions and measure impact.
• Deliver consistent experiences using the design system and visual identity, and present work in design critiques.
• Track and analyse product performance to iterate and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing digital products with industry-standard tools and processes.
• Strong experience designing for both native apps and web.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end design across complex initiatives.
• Experience with complex customer and consumer workflows, ideally in a two-sided marketplace or B2B2C environment.
• Advantageous: SaaS, property or adjacent industry experience.
