About the role
We are looking for a strategic Senior Procurement Specialist to lead and influence procurement, contracts and purchasing activities across our organisation. In this role you will provide expert advice, ensure compliance with legislation and policies, and mentor a small team while supporting internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end procurement and contract management, including tender preparation, evaluation and supplier engagement.
- Ensure probity, compliance and value for money in all purchasing activities.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve procurement strategies, policies and governance frameworks.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of modern ERP procurement systems.
- Deliver training, guidance and ongoing support to internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Extensive experience in procurement and contract management within a complex organisation.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proven track record of leading change and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
