Senior Private Wealth Adviser

About the role

ANZ Business & Private Bank is looking for a Senior Private Wealth Adviser in Melbourne to deliver complex advice solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) customers. The adviser extracts deep knowledge of client needs and provides market-leading strategic advice across wealth strategy and investment solutions, while growing the Private Banking & Advice (PB&A) business. This is a permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) role.

Key responsibilities

• Build and grow the business through portfolio management, strong relationships, technology and data
• Hold ongoing conversations with high-net-worth customers to understand their needs and provide tailored advice
• Deliver strategic financial advice, manage referrals and coach clients to meet and exceed their financial goals
• Collaborate with internal referral partners and the wider PB&A business
• Contribute to the well-managed PB&A business from a risk and process perspective
• Act in line with the purpose of honesty, fairness and no conflicts of interest

Required profile

• Extensive experience in advice, including high-net-worth individuals and entities
• Comprehensive understanding of markets, investments and strategic solutions
• Has met all FASEA Education Standards
• History of excellent advice audit results and high ethical standards
• Resilient, fast-paced, with a strong growth mindset

• Ability to network, use initiative and work independently
• Good organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
