About the role

Join PwC Private Tax Australia to provide trusted tax advice to privately owned businesses, family groups and high‑net‑worth individuals across the country. You will work across multiple seniority levels, from Senior Associate to Director, shaping tax outcomes for complex transactions and long‑term wealth strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Advise influential private businesses and family groups on high‑impact tax matters, including structuring, succession, investments and transactions.
• Design and implement tax‑efficient structures that support business growth, investment strategies and wealth preservation.
• Collaborate with specialist teams across PwC to deliver integrated, end‑to‑end solutions.
• Stay ahead of legislative changes and market trends, translating complexity into practical advice.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in private wealth, privately owned corporate businesses and family office structures.
• Proven experience managing high‑value client portfolios and building trusted relationships.
• Track record of leading, mentoring and developing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with regulatory bodies such as the ATO.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of tax laws and ability to develop innovative strategies for corporate groups with turnovers exceeding $1bn.
