Senior OT Security Analyst

About the role

Dragos is looking for a Senior OT Security Analyst to lead a frontline monitoring and triage unit that protects critical infrastructure OT environments. You will mentor junior analysts, investigate anomalous network behavior, and support threat hunters and incident responders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead shift operations, guiding analysts in triaging detection alerts and network telemetry across customer OT environments.
• Investigate suspicious activity, identify misconfigurations, anomalies, and potential malicious behavior.
• Escalate findings to incident responders and threat hunters with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with analysts, threat hunters, incident responders, platform engineers, and detection engineers to tune detection logic and reduce false positives.
• Write incident summaries and operational reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Support asset classification, vulnerability management, hardening recommendations, and direct customer information requests.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in network security with hands‑on threat investigation.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, and packet analysis.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, or network traffic analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to translate technical findings for diverse audiences.
• Interest in ICS/OT cybersecurity and ability to quickly learn industrial‑specific concepts.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and flexible for shift‑based coverage.

Required skills

• Network security tools (IDS/IPS, SIEM, traffic analyzers)
• OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, Ethernet/IP
• MITRE ATT&CK for ICS framework
• Packet capture (PCAP) analysis
• Scripting basics (Python, Bash)
