Senior Network Engineer – Enterprise & Cloud

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a high‑performing technology team responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and optimising complex enterprise network environments. The role suits a hands‑on engineer with deep expertise across enterprise networking, network security and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless and remote access solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for complex network projects and operational initiatives.
• Configure and manage routing, switching and network security technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VXLAN, MPLS and VPN.
• Deliver hybrid cloud networking solutions, including Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall and Application Gateway.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical network incidents and performance issues, applying Zero Trust principles and network segmentation.
• Produce high‑quality technical documentation, design artefacts and operational procedures.

Required profile

• NV1 Security Clearance.
• Strong technical problem‑solver with experience in large‑scale, mission‑critical environments.
• Highly collaborative and stakeholder‑focused, able to work in fast‑paced enterprise settings.
• Passionate about network reliability, security and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VXLAN, MPLS, VPN technologies.
• Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco ACi, Cisco ISE, Cisco SD‑Access, Cisco Firepower.
• Azure networking: Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Network Security Groups.
• Hybrid cloud connectivity, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Zero Trust architecture.
• Network redundancy, high availability, network segmentation and micro‑segmentation.
