Senior National Account Manager – FMCG Grocery, Aldi & Costco

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Australian FMCG company as the Senior National Account Manager overseeing key grocery and wholesale customers including Aldi and Costco. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, you will act as the 2IC driving growth across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute customer account plans covering growth priorities, range opportunities, promotional strategy and commercial targets.
• Own day‑to‑day strategic relationships, lead range reviews, business reviews and negotiations.
• Identify new channel opportunities across hardware, grocery, emerging channels and e‑Commerce.
• Utilise Quantium, Circana, customer scan data and category reports to spot trends, gaps and risks.
• Partner with Marketing and NPD to shape the innovation pipeline.
• Deliver agreed NSV, gross margin and profitability targets while managing forecasts and promotional planning.
• Develop new business across existing and new customer accounts.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and national account management.
• 5+ years FMCG NAM experience across grocery, hardware, wholesale, emerging channels and e‑Commerce.
• Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into actionable category reviews.
• Experience managing the Bunnings account; private‑label experience is an advantage.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Organised, commercial‑savvy and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
