Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships - In-Licence

About the role

A privately owned, global specialisation pharmaceutical company is looking for a new Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships (In-Licence) in Sydney. The role is newly created as the company makes way for a new chapter for its ANZ team, and reports to the Director of Corporate Affairs and Market Access.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritise licensing, acquisition, partnership and portfolio growth opportunities aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Lead commercial evaluation and business case development, including market analysis, forecasting, valuation, pricing, reimbursement and competitive assessment.
• Lead cross-functional due diligence and transaction execution, coordinating commercial, regulatory, medical, operational and financial inputs.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, investment and licensing partners, including negotiation and alliance management.
• Partner with local leadership and the Global Business Development team to drive opportunities from identification through evaluation, approval and execution.

Required profile

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or related industry.
• Background in business development, portfolio management or new product planning.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional projects and influence senior internal and external stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Required skills

• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with financial analysis and modelling capabilities.
• Strong negotiation, partnership and stakeholder management skills.
