Senior Manager Risk and Control Advisory and Delivery

About the role

The Digital Line 1 Risk chapter, within CommSec's Line 1 Risk chapter area, provides end-to-end risk support for the Digital Domain, which covers online broking and investment products such as equities, international trading, investment lending and derivatives. The Senior Manager role reports directly to the Chapter Lead and focuses on managing risks in the Digital Domain, including incident and issue management, root cause analysis, change management, technology and AI deployment, and controls testing and development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage risks within the Digital Domain, including incident and issue management and root cause analysis
• Lead initiatives for change management, including technology and AI deployment
• Lead controls testing and development, including control automation
• Provide leadership over complex risk matters while supporting team members and stakeholders
• Support key projects and day-to-day tasks within the Chapter or an aligned Pace squad

Required profile

• Risk mindset: proactively identifying, discussing and acting on current and future risks
• Proactive self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and developing communication and influencing skills
• Experience in risk advisory and supporting the business in implementing technology and/or AI change initiatives
• Experience in financial services, with knowledge of the regulatory landscape and operational risk management principles
• Time management across multiple tasks and initiatives, proven track record of results, and stakeholder engagement skills
