Senior Manager, Family Office Tax (Private Wealth)

About the role

PwC Australia is recruiting a Senior Manager for its Private Wealth, Family Office Tax team in Brisbane. You will deliver tailored tax and advisory solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs and privately owned businesses, helping them grow, protect and transition their businesses and wealth through estate and succession planning and wealth preservation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families and business owners on complex tax issues, including restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A and trust losses.
• Provide tax compliance, planning and advisory services across trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals.
• Lead family advisory services including succession and estate planning to ensure long-term wealth preservation.
• Manage relationships with the ATO, particularly on the Top 500 and Next 5000 programs.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of private client and business tax, with experience advising on complex tax issues.
• Proven ability to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients and build long-term relationships.
• Leadership and mentoring skills to support junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills, a client-first mindset and the ability to work with external advisors and stakeholders.
