Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy
Careers at Eucalyptus · Au - Hq - Nsw
Job description
About the role
Eucalyptus, part of Hims & Hers, is the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, supporting millions of patients across the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Spain and Canada. The Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy is a high-impact member of the Australian team, reporting directly to the GM for Australia and working closely with leaders across Growth, Product, Operations, Clinical, Finance and Analytics. The role helps build a clear view of how the Australian business is performing, evaluates where capital can be deployed most effectively and turns complex analysis into practical recommendations for the leadership team.
Key responsibilities
- Build a view of commercial performance with FP&A, Finance and Analytics, covering revenue, acquisition, conversion, retention, gross margin and contribution margin, and identify the drivers behind them.
- Partner with FP&A on annual planning, reforecasting and scenario modelling, helping functional leaders understand how their decisions affect financial performance.
- Build the analysis and commercial cases that compare investment opportunities across conditions, products, channels and patient segments, and recommend where capital, people and attention should go.
- Analyse customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, payback, retention and margins across products, channels and cohorts, and help teams understand the commercial levers they can influence.
- Investigate growth and profitability opportunities across pricing, packaging, retention, product mix, acquisition and margin, and track whether expected value is realised.
- Evaluate new treatments, conditions, partnerships and business models, structure the opportunity and develop the commercial case.
- Take on cross-functional commercial questions, structure ambiguous problems and help move work from analysis to implementation.
- Help establish the tools, frameworks and forums that let leaders understand performance and make timely decisions.
Required profile
- About 6 years of experience in a highly analytical environment, such as strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, corporate strategy or a commercial role in a high-growth consumer, subscription or technology-enabled business.
- A track record of solving ambiguous, high-impact commercial problems and turning recommendations into measurable outcomes.
- Strong understanding of high-growth consumer economics, including customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, retention, payback and contribution margin.
- Comfortable moving between long-term business cases and the operational detail of a specific performance problem.
- Clear communicator who influences without relying on formal authority; healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
What we offer
- Mentorship from leaders across Australia, the UK, Germany and Japan, collaboration with teams in the Philippines and South Africa, and the chance to explore new markets or travel internationally.
- Learning budgets, conferences, certifications, peer shadowing and a global knowledge-sharing culture.
- Catered wellness talks, exercise classes, free barista coffee, funded social clubs and quarterly rooftop parties.
- Parental and miscarriage leave, health, professional development and personal days, plus an Employee Assistance Program.
