Senior Manager Business Optimisation

About the role

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Manager Business Optimisation to lead enterprise‑wide transformation of services. Reporting to the Director of Performance Improvement & Optimisation, you will shape operating models, align capabilities and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, uplift and govern operating models for portfolios, divisions and branches.
• Analyse service, process and capability data to provide insights on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Influence and embed consistent ways of working across the enterprise, improving planning and delivery.
• Build and strengthen a Business Architecture and Process Improvement Centre of Excellence, establishing standards and frameworks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops and ensure initiatives are aligned.
• Monitor operating model performance, identify gaps and support continuous adaptation.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in operating model uplift, enterprise transformation and business capability analysis.
• Strong track record of using data and insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Ability to work in complex, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders.
