Senior Lecturer Electrical

About the role

TAFE SA is seeking a Senior Lecturer in Electrical to teach at its Tonsley campus, based on Kaurna Country. The role combines a high level of expertise in educational delivery, leadership and program coordination with teaching and learning excellence. Candidates come from industry backgrounds such as major industrial projects, commercial installations, mining operations or domestic electrical systems. No teaching experience is needed: the organisation supports the transition to the classroom and funds a TAE qualification if required.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of recent industry experience, with demonstrated currency in both industry and education within the last three years.
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
• Bachelor of Education (Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning) or a degree deemed equivalent by the Classification Committee, together with relevant industry qualifications.
• Thorough knowledge of Certificate II, III and Diploma Electrotechnology training products.
• A valid Working with Children Check issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
